  1. Allow collaborators to upvote cards

    A key element of story mapping is collaborative prioritization/prevalence. IE, understanding how popular a given card might be amongst the participants.

    In an in-person setting, this is achieved either by asking participants to spend several minutes writing ideas on sticky notes, then consolidating similar ideas, or asking participants to "dot-vote" on ideas that resonate.

    If Stories on Board allowed for live up-voting of cards as they are added, this would come close to replicating the in-person story mapping experience. Collaborators should have a simple mechanism to upvote a card (and ideally could add clarifying comments that would be visible on…

  8. Connect a card to an existing issue in Pivotal

    Similar to any tracking system, we have multiple projects and multiple boards. Being able to put a Pivotal issue link in a Story card to start syncing them would grant a needed level of control and would eliminate importing unnecessary issues into a board only to delete them.

  9. Allow multiple task levels to represent parallel tasks

    "When working with many clients their story contains events which happen in parallel across multiple users. Currently, the SOB map only allows you to have a single linear set of 'Tasks'.

    By having multiple 'task' tracks (one per user group) would allow tasks to happen in parallel; this would also allow, for example, things like a 'system' track where automated tasks happen. It would potentially also allow for User Persona's to be attached to the 'track' - I've found the groups to identify with the tasks much more quickly when they can see who's it's related to.
