Additional role to allow someone to comment but not edit.2 votes
It’s possible now with the viewer role.
Users with viewer role can comment on cards if it’s enabled in board settings by checking “Viewers can comment on cards”.
"Would be great to link between boards... so one card could lead to a whole to board
Basically lets say you're defining a major process of how you handle a new
custom from start to finish... one card could be around setting up proper
project structure.. if you clicked on that card it would open up another
board where that project structure is defined within another board.
This was you can easily jump between boards... through specific cards that
you would define." - Bart22 votes
You can do that by creating a link in the card or cards title using markdown style links. Please take a look at this article for details:
We use multiple projects aggregated by a query into a single JIRA board. I want to be able to manage and prioritize stories from that board, rather than from a specific project. So if I could sync storiesonboard to the JIRA query for that board it would make the integration much more useful.85 votes

At the moment only user story card provide the 'Go to this issue in JIRA'. I would like to see this functionality enabled for EPICS as well as EPICS are just big user stories and can carry their own user story format with acceptance criteria.9 votes
From now on, all the synchronized cards have the option to show them in Jira. The feature can be accessed from the hover menu of the cards.
When dealing with a large storymap and multiple releases, sometimes it would be easier to move a card to a new release by opening the card detail view and changing the release from a drop down.
Similar solution would be also handy for moving cards horizontally on wide maps.15 votes
We are happy to tell you, that since our latest release it is possible to move cards between releases from the card details window, and also to move cards anywhere on the board from their dropdown menu or by using CTRL + X (cut), cursor keys to navigate and CTRL + V (paste).
Have the toolbar at the top collapse when it's not in use, screen space is premium especially on a smaller laptop.4 votes
It is possible to increase / decrease the work area (by getting rid of the top toolbar and the browser’s toolbar) using the “F11” shortcut or choosing “Full screen” from the “…” menu.
I would like to adjust the card text font size or box size relative to the font size across the board (not on individual cards) so that I can reduce whitespace if my titles are all kinda short or reduce scrolling/truncation on the card if my titles are all kinda long.5 votes
Thank you for your idea. The latest release of StoiresOnBoard contains some UI and UX improvements like adaptive zoom, which is great to see more text on the cards when the board is zoomed in. You can switch between normal and adaptive zoom from the “…” menu on the upper right corner.
"I tried to map (white) SoB-cards to JIRA Epics. However throws an error since the required field "epicname" (in JIRA) is currenty not pushed from SoB. SoB support suggests to make Epicname optional (versus required) in JIRA. This would no longer block synching. Unfortunately, this field seems to be configurable in JIRA. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/agile/jira-agile-administrator-s-guide/jira-agile-jira-configuration Has anyone some solution?" - Dirk0 votes
It’s done! :)
Epic name field is also updated with the card’s title.

Generate GIF/PNG/JPG of a board. Optionally, releases can be selected to produce smaller image.3 votes
You can export the board in the … / Export & Print menu.
I add an attachment to the card in Trello for the url of the associated card in StoriesOnBoard. Add an option to create an attachment to the card in Trello for the associated card in StoriesOnBoard when the card is pushed from StoriesOnBoard to Trello.
It’s done! :)

Don't limit import to 100 cards4 votes
It was caused by a bug which is fixed now.
As a board admin managing a release with many other stakeholders and referring people back to the board over and over again to get big picture, I want to allow viewers of the board to navigate to the linked card in either trello, tracker, or jira.
(I also want to see a link to trello/tracker/jira from the open card and not from a little drop down).
Thanks! Love your product and thanks for the hard work!1 vote
Thanks for the suggestion!
The card details now contains a link to JIRA/Trello/Pivotal Tracker and it can be also accessed by the viewers.
It’s done! You can filter closed issues by checking it in the Integration settings.

We need one more level, which is actor1 vote
You can use personas as an “additional level” in StoriesOnBoard. For detailed info, please take a look at the link below:
Currently I can only import all(!) tasks from pivotal.
If there is an option to only import from pivotal icebox my team would be able to keep creating tasks in pivotal and I as a project manager could import all the new tasks to plan and prioritize them with storiesonboard.6 votes
It’s done! Set “Restrict which stories will be imported by state” to “unscheduled” in Issue Tracker Integration settings.
