WHen cards a recreated, add an autonumber so the cards have a unique identifier for use in export to other systems.

Following additions:
1) I suggest to let the user decide whether to have this feature active
2) It should be possible to see the number on the card without having to open it
3) Ideally, you also provide the possibility of cross-references in card details based on the card id
4) Optionally it should be possible to also display a board id - bigger projects span over more than one board, otherwise work becomes inconvenient
5) Optionally it should be possible to customize card IDs, e.g. like Smartsheet offers it
