  1. Proposed changes that can be viewed before taking effect

    allow people to propose changes without actually updating the map yet. So you could see the difference between what you have and what someone else proposes.

  5. Edit card caption

    Double click the card should allow editing the caption instead opening the edit window. The edit window should be accessed by the edit button.

  7. Close a release and mark all cards as done

    Because SOB isn't yet able to integrate with github, our team usually updates our story map at the end each release. So it would be great to be able to mark all cards in a release as 'done' and close the release all in one action.

  9. Private instance

    Non-hosted version would be great for companies with sensitive data. Would love to use it in my day job - but there's no way I'd be allowed to put project details up on a hosted version, let alone linking to company's Jira instance. Hopefully you have plans for this. Great product, love the clean design.

  10. Maintain initiative/epic/story relationship when synching to/from JIRA

    The import and export is flat and does not maintain the "Agile" issue hierarchy.

    Blue cards should be initiatives, yellow cards should be epics, and white cards should be stories.

    FYI the only way JIRA supports initiatives is using labels, which is actually pretty good.

    In order to do this you may need the user to manually map each card tier to an associated issue type in their jira project.

    If this was implemented, when importing a full project from JIRA you would effectively have an instant organised story map. The current format requires a lot of fixing up after…

  13. New top red level of cards for user roles

    Add a red level of cards to represent user roles (or types) of the system in development, and place it before the blue one so that activities are grouped by the user role that belong to. Add also the option to see, print and export the board in a two (role->activity), three (role->activity->step) or four (role->activity->step->action) level view.

    the average length of time it takes to complete a story. It would be preferable if it could be calculated for each class of service (type of card, e.g., story, bug, debt, enhancement) and rolled up to the aggregate (feature, backbone, etc).
