I would prefer BurnUp chart as it also considers changing scope. User should be able to choose as a unit of measure either # of cards or sum of story points. Snapshot of statuses & number of cards & points should be taken once a day. It can also suggest possible projected delivery, reporting on daily/weekly/sprint timeframes and allow to make daily annotations e.g. why scope has changed, velocity stagnated....
