View the map without gaps of the release slices
"After creating the story map and then 'slicing' it into releases, I would still like to view it without the slices, i.e. with all the sub-tasks stacked under the main tasks one after another rather than having the gaps that you get after slicing it. Does that make sense? I almost regretted it slicing it too early.

Use hash tags to identify concepts, and rename them
There are usually some concepts that are captured with a word,
where you later want to use a different word. For example, in my design, a user can create a Suggestion, where previously this was called a Proposal.If you tag your "concept" words with a hash, then you can rename your concepts easily. If my card would read "The #User can add a #Proposal" then a rename from Proposal --> Suggestion would automatically update the text of this card (and all other cards where #Proposal was used).
This will of course also make it possible to filter your stories…

Link boards to share cards
I have two different needs that requires 2 different boards but using the same cards.
I want a journey map where I will map my features and steps in a journey map. This will be for me as a Product owner. I will then create releases to map my expected deliveries. That I can already do.
Then for my development team, I would like to map the same cards but by Epic. I have multiple teams that "owns" epics and they will want during planning to map my stories from my journey board into an Epic Map where they would…

Proposed changes that can be viewed before taking effect
allow people to propose changes without actually updating the map yet. So you could see the difference between what you have and what someone else proposes.

Better Help Instructions
Great tools, but help sucks. All I want to do is add more top level categories for the objective above the Personas and couldn't find any help instructions on how to do what seems to me like a very common request.

Edit card caption
Double click the card should allow editing the caption instead opening the edit window. The edit window should be accessed by the edit button.

Close a release and mark all cards as done
Because SOB isn't yet able to integrate with github, our team usually updates our story map at the end each release. So it would be great to be able to mark all cards in a release as 'done' and close the release all in one action.

A nice additional feature for StoriesOnBoard would be a Burndown per storymap/release. The weight of each item can be used versus the date it changed status.

Private instance
Non-hosted version would be great for companies with sensitive data. Would love to use it in my day job - but there's no way I'd be allowed to put project details up on a hosted version, let alone linking to company's Jira instance. Hopefully you have plans for this. Great product, love the clean design.
