    Hi jessica, I believe the upper level cards could perhaps be synced with labels, but the release (horizontal slices) should define what is linked to an epic. an epic could of course span multiple releases which is just fine. moving a card would sync the card's epic

    I disagree with Jakub's comment. Epics are more closely associated with a release in SOB. It is possible that more than 1 release though could be linked to an epic (e.g. iteration 1, iteration 2. etc...) however the second level is only limited to a user's activity. an epic will often span the entire scope of a product
