An error occurred while saving the comment For a workaround I usually use the title and description field like this:
Title: #19501 Assign issue to author
Description:
_A good idea might be to add an option ``<<author>>`` to 'assignee' select for issues._
Redmine: http://www.redmine.org/issues/19501# Acceptance criteria
* happy path: setting the assignee to author -> assignee of the issue is the author
* author is not part of the project anymore -> can't be set as assignee
* etc...(please copy it to a card's description to see how it looks like)
Then I can easily navigate to the issue tracking system (or any related things like google docs). -

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the suggestion! Would it mean linking of different cards (to show that they related in some way), or would this mean placing one card to different places on the board?

Thanks Bruno for the suggestion!
There's also an idea for colored labels on cards here: http://storiesonboard.uservoice.com/forums/276721-general/suggestions/6950016-custom-colored-labels-on-cards, that sounds similar to me.
What do you think, is it the same? Can I merge the two?
